NCI Math Hunt
Jul 19, 2008 Activate has partnered with New College Institute to add activity to academics. Fifth graders will work with geometric shapes to create mandalas on the Uptown Spur Trail. Students will learn about the benefits of walking while creating this astonishing artwork along portions of the trail. Not sure what a Mandala is? Be sure to visit the Uptown Spur Trail to find out firsthand. It is worth the experience. This event occurs regularly.
